Welcome to the Rubalong Hostel, Huanchaco

Huanchaco’s craziest chilliest hostel with the 1 and only FINNISH wood-ovened SAUNA just 10 m high over the Pacific Ocean.

Huanchaco, the beach and surfing part of Trujillo, one of the biggest city in the Peruvian’s North coast.

The only spot where you can surf EVERYDAY, with a natural fauna (phoques, pelicans…) and enjoy the traditional boat-fishing technique (Caballito de totoras) wich was used since the pre-inca’s civilisation.

Talking of Pre-Inca, Trujillo is one of the center of the Moche civilisation with site as Chan-Chan ( the biggest mud city in the world), Huaca de la luna (with original mural paintings).

Next to Huanchaco, in Chicama, you can also surf the world’s longest wave in the world.

Rubalong is THE spot to enjoy all the elements you need on your vacation, wake up with the sound of the ocean, having a icy beer on the deck/terrace on the 3rd floor, next to the crowded beach listening to nice tunes. Body painful after surf? Just ask to have a woodfired oven Sauna on the top floor with a jacuzzi next to it… The warmest and cosiest spot to see the whole Huanchaco by night.
